The Duke Hearing Center

An international leader in otologic care with world-renowned clinicians, state-of-the-art technologies, and innovative research

The Duke Hearing Center provides a multidisciplinary approach for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with hearing disorders.  The Center is also the home of cutting-edge research devoted to the development of advanced treatments for hearing loss.

Deafness and hearing impairments are prevalent and debilitating conditions.  In the United States alone, two million people are profoundly or completely deaf, and at least 26 million more suffer from less severe but still significant hearing loss.

This is an exciting time in the development of new approaches for the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of hearing impairments.  The Duke Hearing Center is committed to discovering better treatments through research to provide the best in clinical care for hearing-impaired patients across the globe.
